About Optimus Physio
A musculoskeletal physiotherapist with 19 years of clinical experience across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, helping people move better, recover well and return to the activities that matter most.
Clinical experience
I’m a musculoskeletal physiotherapist with international experience treating diverse patient populations across New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
My background includes working in private practice and with sports teams, supporting people through injury, rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery and return to activity.
Throughout my career, I’ve developed an approach to rehabilitation that goes beyond temporary fixes. All that experience goes into helping people get back to doing what they love — whether that’s sport, work, or simply keeping up with daily life.
Approach
Physiotherapy should help you understand what is going on, build confidence in your body and progress safely towards your goals.
Treatment is practical and individual. It may include hands-on therapy, massage, movement assessment, pain management advice and progressive exercise prescription, depending on what you need.
Experience
Clinical experience across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, working with a wide range of patients and conditions.
Focus
Support for pain, injury recovery, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports rehab and return to activity.
Goal
Helping people build confidence, strength and function so they can return to the things they love.
Practising what I preach
Outside the clinic, I maintain an active training routine with calisthenics, gymnastic rings, bars and parallettes.
This personal commitment to functional strength training reinforces what I tell my clients every day — practical, sustainable strength is achievable at any stage of life.
What this means for patients
The aim is not just to treat a painful area, but to help you move better, understand your body and build the capacity needed for work, training, sport and daily life.
